NEW PHASE TO OPEN SOON

Start your New Year with plans to build your dream custom home in 2010. Due to the interest of the new lots, I have many prospects selecting their own private one acre now. The current slowdown in home building could mean that we will face a housing shortage in 2011 if our local population continues to grow. In these economic times many builders can not afford to keep up with that growth. The ideal number of housing starts is 11,000 per year. For a while builders were building at a pace of 18,000 per year, which is why we had a surplus. But that surplus is being absorbed by the influx of new residents, and the current pace of 6,000 housing starts per year is beginning to cause a shortage. One result of a housing shortage… increased property values.

Now is the ideal time to purchase a new home and take advantage of the low interest rates and one of the new tax credits. It is a good idea to visit with a loan officer and obtain pre-approval for you new home loan.
