Jimmy Jacobs Custom Homes set a company sales record in 2009 and once again is the number one custom home builder in Central Texas! Unfortunately, some in the building industry have not been as fortunate. Manufactures that held or lowered pricing to survive have started to increase prices. We have already seen an increase in lumber and roofing materials, and others are following. Current base sales prices will be held and honored UNTIL February 15th, 2010. At that time, we will be taking significant price increases to off-set the cost increases that we are not able to absorb.
Interest rates are down lower than they have been in many years. We are seeing loans for 4.75%; which, at one time, we thought just could not happen. Now is the time to build your new custom home before the rates start climbing to a projected 7.5% and home prices go up.
